"Seafarer : Poems and Tales"

The journey of Manuela Mariotti, creative director of the Seafarer brand, for the Fall/Winter 2024 season is inspired by fairy tales and legends of mermaids and sailors and mysteries of the Nordic islands, where she finds new stimuli to create simple and elegant dreamlike imagery.

The "Poems & Tales" collection embodies the soul of sea poems and tales, the essence of timeless adventures of sailors, from calm harbors to stormy challenges in northern waters, and presents the fusion of different but complementary and combinable worlds.

Maritime elements and mystical atmospheres reinforce the brand's heritage.
Legendary mermaids and steadfast anchors are embroidered on navy sweaters and shirts in the identifying colors of Seafarer's DNA blue, white and red.
Strong is the inspiration from the fascinating Irish islands, the Aran Islands, with mohair and wool- cashmere blend over sweaters that want to tell us a story, a love, a victory with their natural shades of ice and sand, geometric designs and elaborate weaves reminiscent of fishermen's ropes, coordinated with pants with important volumes for a ton sur ton total look.
A small utility project with a gritty, military visual is born, with a seamless interlocking of durable and lightweight fabrics, enhanced by accessories such as woven gro ribbons, hooks and cords that evoke the practical and functional look of uniforms in a color card of blue, green and camel.
Wool cover fabrics make jackets, coats and pants structured and important.
Manuela Mariotti's creative imagery also proposes a play of micro and macro checks combined with a houndstooth pattern for a capsule that breaks up and reinforces the exploration and experimentation of this new collection.

The brand's strength is still the meticulous search for fine fabrics such as double wools in the brand's iconic colors, crepe and stretch wool twill for comfort fit pants, gabardine and cavellery for the more sporty part of the collection.
